About
Nolafoodie.com is a web based food magazine whose primary mission is to promote the food, culture and restaurants of New Orleans and the South. The site began in early 2004 as a way to chronicle a thirst for food knowledge and served as a diary of cooking, dining and food exploration. What started as a simple blog soon became a compendium of food writing, cooking tips, travel logs, restaurant reviews and personal recipes. In January 2010, after six years and hundreds of updates it was time to move the site to a new “magazine” style platform to continue the promotion of Creole, Cajun, Southern and Louisiana food and culture. Please feel free to leave us comments and we hope you enjoy the new dynamic NolaFoodie.com for 2010 and beyond!
